Sade's Story Time

I guess I should explain that we have had A LOT of bugs lately (especially ants) and my frustration to kill them might have efected Sade a bit :) The funny part is that she doesn't quiet understand the semi-permanence to death; because every time I kill the ants they come back, and so Sade is left a little confused :)

Just in case you didn't catch that, the second story is about a "Ghostie" that was really a monster that ate pink gumballs...but the gumballs were not "yummy"

Election Day

We have all had to the opportunity over these last few months to discuss, sometimes very passionately, our political views. As election day neared many have felt anxiety, fear, anger, and many other unpleasant emotions grow day by day. The stress of wanting and of wating could drive the most even tempered mind insane. Hope has been the topic of many conversations.

Now the day has come. As I walked from our polling booth this morning I felt glorious, there is no other word to describe it! I got to vote on what is so important to me, I have an opinion that matters. How lucky I am to live in this Country! No country is without problems, but we, every American can be a part of the solution! This is such an amazing gift, and an incredible responsibility as well. We need to take the time to study each issue and each candidate and when we do, we have the ability through voting to take action. Each American has the opportunity to earn their passion and evoke a change.

I love this Country!

Vote "YES" on Proposition 8 !!!

When this picture was taken a young High School student with a "no" sign angraly yelled at us "does she even know what her sign means?!" The student was refering to Nyah. Nyah was unaware of the question, so when Jeremy and I discused it later in the car I asked, "Nyah why are we voting yes on Prop 8?" She replied, "because every kid should be able to have a mommy AND a Daddy". Sade quickly jumed in, "I know that too!" I have to say, I am so proud of our girls!
